192.168.1.1 page does not open for ZTE zxdsl531b wireless modem/router

Hello friends,
I am using ZXDSL531B modem for my broadband and lan. From sometime the modem page 192.168.1.1 is not opening. The page "The connection was reset" / "The page cannot be displayed" is displayed while attempting to open the modem for setting. It even does not show the login page, which ask for userid and password.
My internet connection and lan is working fine on this router/modem. I am using it on desktop [lan connected], wireless on mobile & laptop and all works fine [sometimes internet doesn't work on someday, not sure it may be due to problem in BSNL broadband].
I know the reset button at the bottom of the modem may help, but i want to avoid this option at first as a lan cable from DVR [used for CCTV] is connected to this modem and the settings that CCTV engineer may have made in the modem, will be lost. Also presently i don't remember the password for bsnl connection.
Can anyone help please?

try 192.168.0.1,192.168.100.100,192.168.1.2... hit n trial otherwise you'll have to reset it to default and reenter all the settings again

I don't think trying different IP would help as he's able to ping 192.168.1.1, which is most likely his router IP.

Try clearing browser cache and try again. If that too doesn't help the only way out as pujaari mentioned is to reset and reconfigure the router.

Hello Friends,
Further to above, I have reset the modem now and got the passwords reset of broadband connection and selfcare portal.
Now I want to change the password for broadband connection. But when I try to change it through "Change Broadband Password" link in selfcare, the following message appears:
Dear Customer
Sorry we could not process your request right now
Please try after some time
Reference Error Code: "1002"
I don't know for what this error code stands for. Any solution please? For information, in user name I am using the user id "[email protected]" and the password provided by bsnl after reset.
