2 mbps connection turned into 256 kbps after getting IPTV

I am on 2 mbps unlimited plan, I made a major mistake of getting IPTV from MTNL, the guy came, did some settings.. (he asked his colleague to change some profile remotely from the exchange or something) and after that, my 2mbps plan has become like 256 kbps.. Damn, I have been paying them 4K a month and now they are giving me Rs. 399 plan for 4KAny suggestions / fixes which I can make directly to the router? Tried calling MTNL customer support and I am still praying for the connection to get back to normal.

You should have applied for IPTV on new line. It is clearly mentioned that those going for IPTV will be capped to 256kbps(at least here in Delhi).There are no extra charges or separate tariff for it. Talk to CC if they can do it now. Else you need to surrender this IPTV and apply afresh on separate line.

Yup ranjit is right... IPTV caps out your bandwidth its not like airtel

Thanks guys, I am going to apply for the cancellation tomorrow itself. They never told me this earlier, now because of them, my whole office work is almost stranded.
