2 mesh nodes vs 2 Wifi Routers

I’m looking to setup wifi at my new home, the area is around 3000sqft. Now I’m looking at two options -
1. 2 TP-Link X60 nodes.
2. 2 TP-Link Archer AX73

i have got to know that there’s an ethernet cable running in all of the rooms from the electrical panel downstairs. I will be able to connect the two nodes/routers with ethernet by connecting each other downstairs.

My thinking is a traditional router will have less bandwidth loss and more range through brick walls and that will be very good to have. The only downside I can think of is that, I won’t have seem-less connectivity and I’ll have to switch wifi each time I move around. Also would there be any interference among the two routers?

I am on a 200Mbps Airtel plan and I want to be future proof if we upgrade to faster speeds.

You can use two wifi routers, having same SSID, but broadcast channel should be different to avoid interference. IMO, this setup will work better than any mesh setup. I have personally experienced that mesh setup is a mess. It claims to offer seamless connectivity but actually doesn't. And you are quite right that traditional routers can penetrate walls better (generally). And from my personal experience I can say that no need to worry about switching wifi. Modern equipments tend to connect automatically to the stronger node.

I had the same issue and went for the Deco x20 (budget option). It works very well and all my devices are seamlessly Connecting to both.
Also management is very easy over the deco app.
My apartment is on the 4th floor and I get 3 bars on the road below.

I have similar setup like @gmaster , I may have to check on the broadcast channel if I need to change that.
I am using WiFi 5Ghz with same SSID and move around house quite comfortably with out any issue.
Getting 180Mbps speed on my 200Mbps Airtel plan.

I have done WiFi extender on 5Ghz and all my SSID’s are 5Ghz and have disabled 2GHz on both the routers.
