Hi Airtel broadband users,
Today I just noticed that we can achieve 2 times the maximum download speed in airtel broadband if we download files simultaneously on ipv4 and ipv6. You should enable ipv6/ipv4 mode in your modem for this to work.
I was able to confirm this theory by downloading official ubuntu desktop file using bittorrent. I was getting speeds upto 240 Mbps as many seeds were also using ipv6 and so basically pulling 120 Mbps from ipv4 seeds and 120 Mbps from ipv6 seeds. Too lazy to take screenshots though and not posting pics . You guys can check it out and it can bring a smile on your face.
