256kbps unlimited coming to mumbai soon?

hi guys...so today i had gone to my exchange to get my plan changed asap. i was taken to some really nice guy who was supposedly in charge of the triband dept in the vile parle(e) exchange. well, as he was ordering one of the people to see to it that my plan is changed asap (he said max 2 days), we got to talking and he was saying that mumbai will soon be introducing an unlimited plan, possibly 256, and when i quizzed him some more, he said the details are just starting to trickle to him. so lets hope this happens soon

yes if it has to come it shud not be too high.2 mbps * 8hrs = 2048 kbps * 8hrs = 682kbps * 24hrs = 849Rs = 682 unlimited @ 849 rsso 256unlimited shud be 318Rs (ignoring other 1.25GB)considering that lower plans generally have higher cost, lets add some 150Rs more.so 256k unlimited shud not exceed 475Rs a month.

I would not switch to such a plan even if it comes. I can manage with the 1.25 GB day time usage. And I get more than 100GB to download in the night. I am very much happy with the 849NU plan! Moreover now-a-dayz... cant survive without 2mbps speed...

same Plan in Delhi is for Rs949:O............so I doubt that prices will be so low

I'll also not be complaining........finally I shall be happy to get 2mbps and pay for 256kbps :yahoo:

I'm pretty sure they will initially forget to downgrade the speed. But it wont last for more than a month. They will rectify it soon

i wonder why mtnl doesn't have unlimited plans in mumbai when tata indicomm has up to 1mbps unlimited plans available?!?! if they ever matched the unlimited plan prices of tata, everybody would jump ship to mtnl!!

every1 knows state of tataBB, its going down. MTNL is not facing any competition from tataBB but tataBB is facing too much competition from MTNL.mtnl delhi is facing competition from airtel and hence they have introduced unlimited plan there.
