if we talk about pvr gold in gurgaon... it can come to around 2300 for two.

for some shows, the ticket is priced at 950.

In my life i would have gone to multiplex probably 12-15 times not more than that.........My last vist to multiplex in chennai was in the month of July where in for 2 i incurred a cost of Rs. 250 for the ticket cost..........no pop corn, no pepsi for my wife........

When i was in Bombay between 1998-2002........i used to watch the movies in Gaiety, Galaxy complex theatres in bandra.........at that point of time they used to charge a ticket between Rs. 40 - Rs 50.............now i dont know how much they are charging these days..........

The crowd is unbearable so you can understand why the rates are so less. The price is still low around 75/80-. There is no peace in watching a movie.

I feel decent crowd use to come for that theatre.........it was neat too........

I don't know about the crowd that use to come but I went for Wanted the crowd were all hooligans Salman fans with whistles and havoc in the theatre.

How did you get to know? It may release later since Dth has been releasing movies soon on its platform. Why would this particular movie face any problem and be dropped.

because this is a very high profile movie. ghajini was released last year on december 25. 3 idiots is releasing again on december 25. expectations are high. avatar is going to face massive challenge from 3 idiots

Avataar has a global release. I don't think 3 idiots are going to have universal coverage yes, its date of release makes it sound like a high profile movie. That shouldn't stop it from releasing on the DTH platform as people wouldn't mind paying little extra for good movies.
