3 Mbps sync speed on 256 Unlimited connection.

Hi all,

Im on 256 Unlimited combo from MTNL..my sync speed used to be 256 upstream and 256 downstream..now it's 3 mbps up and 1 mbps down...

I have jst checked my speeds on speedtest.net and download speed is same as before (225kbps max) but uploads speeds are around 600 kbps.

I know that IPTV users are provided high speeds line but i don't use IPTV.

is there anyone else whose experiacing this? net is extremely slow now..websites are taking a lot of time to load..looks like MTNL is experimenting something.

IF you upload has increased the download should too.Try using a download manager and download something from a good site like microsoft.

no man! there is no difference in Download speed at all..it's the same as before..but upload speeds have gone up..

Cool it's a Holiday season .Christmas from Mtnl's santa "Boosting Sync rate but lower download speed "

hehe enjoy the seeding Maybe they cap the download speeds using a software and not the upload speeds.InCable used to do the same when I had it 2years back. I could download at 18kBps but upload at over 200kBps.Also, there is a mjor slowdown in Mumbai as well. Hopefully they are aware of it and will fix it soon.

well..my SNR margin upstream is too low too(8 db)..there is something really going wrong with MTNL..websites seems to be loading very slow..download speeds are going down to 4KBps at times.Hope that they fix everything soon:thumbsup:
