i have 449 neo ffth plan , if this 329 plan is for everyone , i would gladly take it, 1-2MBps is enough for me , 1000gb is far more , my usage is just around 300-400gb a month ,dont need 3300gb 449 plan , can reduce some 145rs and use this for my mobile recharges .
downgrade options not available in new wsc cdr bsnl website .so have to tweet or letter ,i would love online methods , and mostly i wanted to know for changing plan any cost would be taken ?

The Fiber Entry plan @ 329 is available for all users provided the plan exist in your circle(city/state)
The plan was introduced back in 2022 to make fiber available to the general masses. The plan is currently is available across most circle till 29th October 2024. It currently offers 25mbps till 1000GB and 4mbps beyond 1000GB

For changing plans specially downgrading its done via a letter to your nearest telephone exchange. There is no option to downgrade via the portal and other than that all the plans are not present in the portal and its barely updated and maintained. (Its done intentionally, its a backend politics to keep all BSNL employees occupied with work. If everything becomes available online some employees would lose their job or would be asked to take voluntary retirement)

Changing plans doesn't cost you additional money. The balance amount would be adjusted in your billing cycle if there is any.

You can check the latest tariffs here - BSNL FTTH Tariffs

Even if its available in your state/circle, it might have conditions, like available for new customers or LL to FTTH conversion etc. So a downgrade may not be possible.

Check if the plan is available for your circle using the above link, the conditions would also be mentioned at the bottom.

@Blue Leaf @MrGordon thank you for replying , i saw that in my account webpage , the portal2 page dont show this 329 plan ,for some circles i chose , but it was in tariif in my account website , the selfcare tungston website is redirected to wsc cdr bsnl website , i had to verify details again , then in it i saw the 329 plan . i searched about it, its said in keralatelecom -- BSNL Fibre Entry plan is also available as a bundled plan with BSNL IPTV Services in Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Tamil Nadu telecom circles. but its old 2023 .
before talking to lco or bsnl exchange office , i gota be sure if i can get it .
i got fiber conversion from adsl at oct last year 23. at that time this plan wasnt there tho when i was trying to opt for the cheapest .so now i would be a existing customer wanting to downgrade to this 329 plan if available .
tariff page dont show 329 but account page show 329 plan. can you please check if that shows up in account pages ? thanks

@MEGAN I think its best to talk to BSNL / LCO as this is a plan with conditions not like a plan which is open to all. So whether the plan is applicable or not in your case can be determined only by the officer allocating the plan.

To start with maybe submit a written request for plan change to the BSNL office and see what they say.

BSNL websites have deteriorated in quality and quantity. Data is not updated regularly, services are missing, and multiple websites are needed to request, raise queries or complaints, and pay bills. Moreover, complaints/queries raised online are closed automatically in a few days claiming they were resolved.
BSNL Websites routinely stop responding with timeout errors. It is a big mess.
The ONLY option (other than online payment) left is to approach the local BSNL office and tolerate their EXTREMELY slow Employees.
Before approaching the office, get all the necessary documents ready. Do not expect them to answer your queries to your satisfaction.
