legal age for booze in INDIA is 25 from what i know.in delhi it's definitely 25. it's written in all the major pubs in CP and South Ex. though in the last couple of years, only one bar tender has refused to serve one of the members in my group to serve a pint to an underage member.but none of the places actually went ahead and asked for an age proof.

the legal age in delhi has always been 25 though never had any problem since i'm 20

talks r going on to bring it down to 21 yrs in delhi...though the center has suggested 18 yrs...more...

Its wierd but true..

In Bombay you need to get a permit to drink even if you are above 25 years. Hard to believe isn't it???

This is what Govt has to say:
Permits for Sale/Buy/Consume Liquor

Some ppl were "arrested" for drinking without permit this month
