^^^ i think this guy @ spandan2003 is associated with Dish TV just like someone else in this section.

Dish TV is a good value for money and has a pretty decent service too but this UPSCALING fiasco will soon lead Dish TV to problems.
They should get ready for being sued by cheated customers.
Simply upscaling and charging 150 bucks isn't good.

The only problem we have is - on the basis of good features, the "Fans" of Dish TV cant go ahead in abusing others, who point out the negatives of their service.
They should be sporting enough to accept or better still - mention the negatives of their service themselves.

Else, they will actually mislead the other people who read a few posts & decide on buying a product or service.

Almost every active member over here is neutral - mention both positives & negatives. Atleast they dont abuse the users of other service providers - this applies to all services, not just DTH.

1 thing i am curious to know is - Is there any PARTICULAR REASON*** for these people going fanatic just after a damn service?? I mean we like a service, but we dont go crazy over it to this extent!!

***This term means, that every thing that a MAN can think of!! Hahaha!!

Totally have to agree with jaymin's comment about fanaticism regd the dth services.Every other DTH has positive as well as negative points and on top of that each individual will have his own take on the positive-negative points.I dont understand why does the OP need to take the comments personally, I mean we are not dissing him, we are just pointing the facts on how the DTH providers are taking us for a ride.As devx said its just plain daylight robbery upscaling, the same thing which your big screen lcd tv does for free,now we need to pay for that? Its like paying for the air we breathe.

This HD thing is in its infancy here in india, and if giants like dishtv adulterate the meaning of HD then the indian customers are at a loss.
