Vista was launched on January 30, 2007 . Till date there is nothing from flash player to run it on ie7/8 64 bit. What to expect if it will run on win7 64 bit. This was my primary reason for not buying 64 bit win7.
The 64-bit versions of Flash Player will not be in the initial release of Flash Player 10.1. We remain committed to bringing native 64-bit Flash Player to Windows and Mac in future, in addition to the currently available 64-bit alpha version of Flash Player 10 for Linux. http://tr.im/DrEi
if u buy the ultimate edition. i think you get both 32 and 64 bit installers. i know i did with my copy of Windows Vista. i had a single serial number that worked on both of those installers.
i also think that the serial number should work on both of the installers of the same version. i would have to find a source for this.
any vista /win7 retail full version has 32 bit and 64 bit and keys are 100% interchangable.regarding the link admin gave above:When will 64-bit versions of Flash Player 10.1 be available? The 64-bit versions of Flash Player will not be in the initial release of Flash Player 10.1. We remain committed to bringing native 64-bit Flash Player to Windows and Mac in future, in addition to the currently available 64-bit alpha version of Flash Player 10 for Linux.
The reason being that the guy who does it for Linux is more active I remember that 2 yrs back, Flash for Linux was lagging way behind flash for windows.
i was assuming that flash player 32bit worked on windows 64bit? i remember hearing problems about installing flash player on linux 64 bit before adobe released a special edition for version 10.
