Okay.
So finally my exchange is showing me some hope of giving me the FTTH plans but sadly the plans from when I was trying has now changed to something weird.
The old plan which I was interested ( felt FTTH was worth ) was the 1690 Plan
1690 - 10 Mbps Download & 5 Mbps Upload speed up to 75 GB, thereafter 1 Mbps download and upload at 512Kbps
Now it has changed to
1690 - 10 Mbps Download & 5 Mbps Upload speed up to 75 GB, thereafter download upload at 512Kbps
But then comes the 8Mbps plan which is almost identical.
1690 - Upto 8Mbps/2Mbps till 85 GB and 512Kbps/512Kbps afterwards
As of now I am on an old 1.7Mbps fully unlimited plan so I am fine with any speed 8Mbps or 10Mbps.
My only question here is, is it worth going through the installation process and get the FTTH for just a better plan than just switching over to 8Mbps with same monthly rental and higher download cap?
For FTTH comes the installation charges + the new connection + new router charges.
For the 8Mbps it would just be a ADSL plan switch right?
I hope somebody could advice me on this.
Thank you

for the 8mbps plan if you are >1km then they might have to do a line bonding to get u 8mbps. there are additional charges for it.

Thats for the VDSL connection right? I was told I won't get the VDSL connection as of now mainly coz it hasn't started in my Exchange yet.
