Why are all the radio channels being launched in Calicut? Radio Mango was also launched in there recently. Am in TVM and still stuck with Ananthapuri FM

if it has been launched in Calicut, it wont take long to reach TVM. Yet, usually capitals are given preference...dunno y not in this case

Capital cities are to be given importance, but this is India, precisely Kerala, things are run differently over here

Sun network is almost ready to launch FM in TVM. FM studio is ready in Surya Tv Complex located at Sasthamangalam. Even the private FM stations are using AIR FM transmitters. In Calicut AIR given the green signal and immediately Manorama & Sun started the stations. In TVM also they are waiting for AIR. Once the set-up is ready at All India Radio, Sun will launch their FM. As you know, Prasar Bharati will take their own time for everything. Sun will launch another FM stations in Thrissur, Kannur, Kochi & TVM. One Malayalam FM will be added to satellite servise, like other Sun FM stations, and can be listened by Music lovers outside India too! Already 3 S FM Channels are available throgh satellite and there are lot of listeners in Middle East and all... So, please wait for TVM S 93.5 FM ! Smile

Club FM from Mathrubhumi launching in Thrissur this Friday. I think Thrissur guys are lucky enough to have 4 FM stations from Thrissur + they could catch FM signals from Calicut as well as Cochin if they have a good reciever.
