Aadhaar required for getting LPG cash subsidy?

The morons implementing Aadhaar failed to understand one simple thing...first they should make it very easy for everyone to get Aadhaar

actually they have made it easy for those who are ready to pay 200-1000 (rates differ in diff areas) :pissed-off:
those who pay don't have to stand in long queue
 
Its not that easy. I was ready to pay 1000 per person for my parents who are old and cant stand in queues. Even that was not possible.
They has to stand for 5 hours one day to get it done. Problem was aadhar was made mandatory for LPG connections in AP.
Hate to see the way its been carried out, and the parents never listen to their children to just forego that bloody subsidy!
At Bangalore, Aadhar camps were started by the companies for their employees, hence it was easier to get. Not so lucky for others out there

Its not easy to forgo that subsidy unless your very rich :) Also since the subsidy is expected to continue for next few years unless there's a govt change next month ..So I think its illogical to forgo that subsidy.
I took adhar card before it was made necessary for lpg subsidy ..so the process was smooth. they gave me a time ..i went there next day and process was completed within 10 mins. but now its a mess with everyone rushing to adhar centers to get themselves enrolled.

I have voted several times even though I dont have Voter ID card. My name was in Voting list, and I gave PAN card for identity.
For me and my family, getting Aadhar card was easy and just took 10 minutes each. Had to wait 30 min till registration was started. But that card has not arrived even after 4 months!
Online copy is available and I submitted it to LPG agency, but bank is not accepting it as they want original card.
(Online copy was also rejected by TATA PHOTON CC for new TATA PHOTON connection, finally worked with PAN card, Electricity bill).
