i would like to know the details from Home500 plan users, whether they are getting speeds upto 2mbps or not. because i am thinking to change my plan from ul900 plus to home500 plan. when i have contacted cc, they said that home500 users also get only 256 kbps speed. when i asked about the point speeds upto 2mbps, he had no answer for that. suggestions are welcome :)

2mbps = yes,the problem in 500 plan is every bit an bite is counted, even by surfing for2to 3 hrs a day you can lose 100 to 200mb or more, the pros is free time 2 to 8, in which you have to use it max.the speed may depend on users in your place and what they downloading, the plan is very tricky you have to keep constant eye on what is down loaded , even anti virus def can be done in night free time.its recommend for heavy down loaders and people who will wake in night.

there are less users in my place. but i can't keep control on this sh.tty browsing limit :@ better i will contact my exchange :(

change of paln is good that is in 900plus i am able o downlaod only 2.7gb /day But when i came to 500 -----------i am able to get 4-5gb per day

With a true 2 MBps line, one can download about 800 MB in an hour. That means, BSNL is actually giving a 2hours 30 minutes of broadband connection with Home500 plan. After that 2.5 GB limit is reached, the rate becomes Rs700 per hour(800MB @ Re0.80p Plus taxes) approx. I guess thats the costliest broadband connection in the whole planet earth. :D

I downloaded a total of 120 GB approx last month....in 720 hrs(30 days X 6 hrs),paid only 560 plus tax..
that comes to 77 paise only for 1hrs.that makes it the cheapest..
(if u view in this angle)

hey..i can typically download 3gigs during night unlimited..so i guess if you can put a limit on day time usage home 500 is the best plan around...i get blazing speeds through out the day and night...u can download more btwn 2-8 in home 500 than u can in a whole day in UL900..
