Well, all the actors from Django Unchained were in the fray for a nomination in actor for supporting role. Christoph Waltz got it in the end.

I am not a big fan of Waltz generally. I liked him in his earlier movies but he got kind of repetitive in negative roles. But he was amazing in Django! Leo was impressive as usual.

i would not call his performance in django oscar worthy however give it to the lincoln guy for god sake!

No nomination for Dark Knight. Donno what wrong Nolan has done, he never won an academy award. Now not even nominated!

probably because his movies are mostly populist junk it's not like they are giving oscars to avengers.
