Accessing internet through wifi...

I am using Ortel communications broadband service(local ISP), having Scientific Atlanta DPC2100 cable modem. I want to use wifi for my laptop through starcom WA3002G4 router, how can I configure the router so I can use LAN for PC & wifi as well.I can use LAN(for PC), my laptop is connected to wifi router but showing "no internet access".

for this u need to play with ur router settings..if settings of router are correct then just change your default gateway in ur pc and laptop....just follow these steps....go to run..type "cmd"type "ipconfig "this will give u ip address and gateway settings...suppose if ur ip is 10.0.0.67 then most probaly ur gateway is 10.0.0.1 ...But if u are amateur , IMO the best way is find auto settings in ur router login page. and config ur lan and wifi acording to it..hope this helps....
