Device : DBC XPON BC-1000B-HGX ( no wifi ) with BEETEL 450TC3 ADSL2 Router
System : MACBOOK PRO - which has no ethernet . Only WiFi.

This setup is working fine & speed is good.
1)when i try to get the wifi connection to my mobile ( after putting the router password ) getting " no valid ip address " error . How to fix this .

2) Also need to connect another laptop ( PC or MAC ) thro wifi . what should i do .
Thanks for inputs .

Pl Note - Both DBC & Beetel has same IP 192.168.1.1

So you are using 450TC3 for WiFi and connecting your DBC to it?

Which port of DBC have you connected 450TC3?

Also, don't use 192.168.1.1 on both, that will result in IP Conflict.

(I'm assuming you have PPPoE done on DBC and internet is working when connecting LAN cable to DBC).

Change 450TC3 to 192.168.1.250

Connect cable from LAN Port of DBC to LAN Port of BEETEL

Disable DHCP Server on BEETEL

Also, that BEETEL router looks really old, consider getting a new router for better performance.

Thanks for the response

YES

Disable DHCP Server on BEETEL - This had been done.

Change 450TC3 to 192.168.1.250
How to do this ?

internet works on all devices?

regardless, disconnect DBC from 450TC3. Provide a static IP in macbook

ip: 192.168.1.71
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.1.1

then try to access router at 192.168.1.1
then go to lan and change ip of 450tc3 to 192.168.1.250
