ADSL light taked 1/2 hour to get stable

Hi guys.i had trouble with my net so i changed my line when the line man asked me and now I am having this weird problem since i changed my whole line from DP to my house.I have Wi-Fi router supplied my MTNl and the ADSL lights keeps blinking and turning off for 30 minutes without any sign of stabling.After 30 minutes+- it stables and i get very slow speed i.e 17 kbps on my 2mbps line. i Contacted the line man and he said ask the SDo and when i ask the SDO he says "aap line man say kahaiyey"(tell the line man).i am tired of this . every two months i have some troubles with mtnl.help please

The link being not stable surely means there is problem with the telephone line. Rewire it. And make sure there are no loose/open ends. Also u can try changing the ADSL Modulation to G.DMT
