ADTV can be recorded using externam DVR (PVR)..?

folks,is it possible to record ADTV programs using external digital video recorders?.currently i'm recording dish tv programs using my LG HDD recorder.somone was saying while trying to record ADTV, it was giving message " protected contents" and he was using component video.replays are highly appreciated.
 
Well I tried recording the Airtel feed using my Philips Portable media centre(which is Microsoft Windows based) and it did not let me record it..I got an error "Protected Content" although I am able to record Tata Sky feed with it..No idea about other recorders..

did you try with normal RCA(YRB) input rather than component video ?
