^He is hoping against hope that our politicos will drop their pants in public like they do in private. But, unfortunately (for us), they are way too clever to do that. Part of their politicking involves giving lessons on morality. Allowing adult channels goes against Indian culture and Indian polity.

the time limt is because of dth is hot these days, and to keep dth going they know what to do next so is 3 to 5yrs, the problem is politics, lets think today we get all the adult channels, the next day other political party will oppose, soits a vicious circle that is never going to end and people suffer, there should be authority like TRI who will manage not IB.

Of course it is getting attention. We need some threads where we can discuss such things. The Adult content... thread in the DTH sub-forum is one of them.

Adult content does not necessarily have to be pornographic (I have absolutely no complaints if it is, though) in nature. It can be erotic (for those who understand the difference between P and E) and it can be mature stuff (violence, language, theme etc).

I remember 1999 when Satya was to be shown on Star Plus at 9 pm. Suddenly they postponed it to 11 pm since it had received a U/A or A certificate and showed a concise version of Mr. Natwarlal to plug the gap. If films like Satya face problems, then bhagwaan hi maalik hai.

^yup. u r absolutely right. adult ontent does not always means porn....and what the politiians think?? that if they will stop adult channels on tv we cannot watch them??? thanks to the computer and internet...

yes , there is thing called softcore, its better than watching net or gettinga pirated disk, the fact is that everone watches it, so even if u stop on tvpeople r going to have other altenetives, the fact is that i find some of hindimovies dirt than english in terms of langauge, ect, u cant even watch with uparents nery by, and they have lot of bouble meaning, that sometimes evenpeople dont understand.,
