Hi Guys,

I am an Airtel user in Noida and was using the "airtel - UL - Super Max 80GB 1849 (2Mbps/512Kbps)" Plan. Last week I got a call from Airtel and they informed me that they have upgraded their network and can now offer 4Mbps connections in my area and offered me an upgrade to a plan with 4Mbps and 120GB FUP at Rs. 150 more. As there have been a few months when I've touched 80 GB limit, so I went ahead and accepted that upgrade.

Anyone else has any news/views on the current plans in Noida?

I checked online today and for the first time, Airtel is offering different plans in Delhi and Noida. So far they had been same. Looks like Noida is getting slightly better plans than Delhi.

What's your take on these changes?

And I'm still paying 2000 RS per month for 30 GB data @ 16 mbps. I will downgrade to the lowest plan from next month. Fuck Airtel

Not just Noida. New plans have started in Faridabad and Ghaziabad as well.

I am interested to know if old customers in Ghaziabad, Faridabad & Noida can still able to hold their old plans. Because i suspect Airtel is just upgrading the speeds in whole areas. So anyone with 2 Mbps/4 Mbps speed will get 16 Mbps speed anyway while FUP will remain the same.

Now Gurgaon & Delhi have similar plans. New plans are there in rest of NCR.

Edit - I think Airtel is adopting overall Speed upgrade soon like upgrade to 2 Mbps in December 2011.

hopefully gurgaon would get some decent new plans. paying 1099 for 8GB at 2mbps is insane.

Do you have any contact in Airtel? If yes, then ask them if there is any roadmap to change plans in Delhi/Gurgaon also.

I'm tired of FUP set at 30 GB.
