Airtel 3G Issues - 3G Network Slow

I had the 99 Rupee 3G plan activated. yesterday, it was almost finished (0.16mb left) so I activated the 98 Rupee 1GB GPRS pack and now I am getting HSDPA speeds and the balance is getting deducted from the 1GB

Rusty I am speaking about Airtel, I don't know about Vodafone bcoz i don't use shitty Vodafone,Idea again their services takes soo much time for activation and deact!!

Example: Airtel activates 3G instantly but Voda,Idea,Aircel takes 2-4hrs.

hmm..just because they takes 2-hr to activate/deactivate..you went for country's crappiest network?

@ulysses, I bought a post paid connection which was being sold in our office campus, 675 plan. Presumed it will be good. You are right the color still showed solid blue, but speed was 40 Kbps. I tried at both home and office, my non 3g MTS card was faster.But as I write this using the same airtel datacard, the speed seems improved. The status today says HSPA airtel, whatever that means. DO not know how long the improved speed will last.
