Airtel 450bxi Wireless + ADSL modem - details

I called up Airtel since my existing wireless modem (the BSNL one from Huawei - which I've been using with Airtel) was acting very flaky and I wanted a new wireless modem. Airtel offered me the Beetel 450 modem at Rs. 1850, but the CC agent was not able to answer any of my questions on the modem or provide me a site to download the modem manual.

So after a bit of googling, here's the only thing I could find on this modem. Posting it here as it may be helpful to anyone else who's offered this by Airtel.

Incredible service from Airtel - ordered at about 7:30 pm last night, delivered and installed this morning...

Goes without saying that the guy installing was clueless, but since I had all the credentials saved in a document, I was able to get it up and running in minutes.

PS: I'm currently on the 2Mbps/6GB plan, thinking of moving to the 384Kbps or 512Kbps unlimited plan so I can keep limewire running and share some love

Wow - the chipset etc. seem identical.. Does anyone know if there's a firmware update for the Beetel 450Bx1?
