Airtel BB: Bill Given for New Modem ?

Today I bought a New Modem Beetel 220bxi adsl2+
Earlier i used 220bx modem for rent for Rs.99 per month.
But the thing is, the airtel guy did not give bill for the one i purchased.. and says they are not giving bill as the product is given by airtel itself so no problem in any occasion.
My doubt is , any one who bought new modem frm airtel ve got bill from airtel? or not ?

hello all,as per airtel marketing people says 500 rs registration charge normal modem ,,,Rs1000 registration charges for wirless modem,no bill,,,,

@essbebe,I am a old Customer of Airtel BB. Took a rented modem frm them and was using it for a long time. I am still in old plan Night 9 to Morning 8 Unlimited Internet Usage so monthly i am paying around Rs550 or a maximum of Rs.600. (Including Rs.99 for modem rent and Rs.99 for Night unlimited top up). After using Rented modem for a long time, Now , yesterday I bought a new modem for Rs.1000 (Not refundable deposit- So I can keep it even if I surrender my connection). They said they are not giving Bill receipt for Modems as the modem belong to their product, no problem wil occur in case of any future misunderstandings(Airtel seal is printed on the modem). THey said it very confidently , thats why I didnt ask for the Bill receipt again.

/members/asdfgf/No Problem. This months bill will show Rs 99/= less since you surrendered the modem. I am also on old plan Home 250 Rs 250 ) 400MB + top up free Nu Rs 99/= 0900PM-0800AM modem is owned by me )I exchanged it recently for 220BX1 NEW from 220 Bx(old) . No questions asked !Para two :ONLY BSNL gives the option to buy the modem used on rent by giving 50% discount ( of rent paid)in the cost. of new modem ( of same type). Only condition the modem should be in working condition.
