Airtel beetel 440TXi wi-fi modem- NAT problem..plzz help!!

Im thinking of upgrading my 220 BX modem with 450 BXi router.
Does IPTABLE work on 450 BXi ?

The 450 Bxi is a good router. It has more features that the 220. I suggest you upgrade.
This is also a linux based router iptables works. You can also web browse to access the settings too. Airtel has some sort of auto config option, when your router logs in and connect's to the internet, the advanced settings disappear in your router.
I messed around with the settings and figured a way out to prevent this from happening. More on this later...

Hello allfigured how to prevent airtel broadband for disabling advanced features on your modem.in the 450 BXi router there is an option called "TR-069 Client"in the Management option on the left-most frameJust click on this option and disable the "Inform" stuff.Note: You must do this after resetting the modem to defaults(press and hold the hidden button behind the modem near the DC inlet.) and before connecting first time to airtel.regards,sandeep
