Airtel Black Router not working properly

Hello everyone,
I recently had Airtel provide me with a Wifi extender (the small black box) during the installation of which the Airtel tech guy removed the Nokia router they provided previously and replaced it with a Black router with a ring light in it. This router has been causing a lot of issues with internet speed and connectivity. Can you please suggest what should I do in such a situation:
1. Ask Airtel to provide my with a different router (preferably the Nokia one) or
2. Add another router to the existing black one and use that.

Ask Airtel CC to log a ticket for enabling Bridge mode on your ONT, then get your own decent router and use it.

If you can only get the Nokia or zte model, they are only providing poor models now bundled with loads of issues and lacking basic features.
