HI People,

I am planning to buy Blackberry 8520 which is in collaboration with Airtel


BlackBerry Curve 8520 - BlackBerry Smartphone 8520, Specifications, Features: Airtel


Few questions I'd like to ask:

1. If anyone of you have already purchased it, how is it? I mean would you recommend it?

2. Is it same as BB Bold 9000? Is it better for me to buy BB Bold 9000 instead?

3. I have heard that we can easily break the code for it and can then use it with any other connections we want. Is it true?

I have Bold 9700; BB 8520 is a decent phone Bold 9000 is obviously better than 8520 (as you can make out from the price difference) - it has a faster processor, 3G and much more device memory to run applications etc.Bold 9700 is better than Bold 9000 - it isn't yet launched in India; I would suggest you wait for that (if you can)Yes once you have the phone, if its locked, its pretty easy to unlock (I did the same on my 9700 for 2$ from Ebay)

Try the dictionary.com App Decent app and does playback the word as well
