Do you have a link that would confirm this. After much research, I understand that if your voip is not used for commercial purposes, you are fine.

To get back to my query,

Once I get there, which tab or page am I supposed to see? Because, I changed nothing in the AC211_SR and it was working fine all these days until last week.

Look man I'm already work with airtel broadband services around 2 years. so why you need the link if said some true, kindly accept It:happy:

I know which problem is solved by airtel or not.

@ BSNL_airtel there is no problem establishing a connection from here to ( iam also on airtel) sipphone's proxy using TCP_syn packets on port 5060 (same what ur ATA uses)..as evidence to somebody claiming that Airtel is blocking voip ports i am posting the tracert here..so the problem seems to be an isolated one..restricted to ur case

Cyberwiz,Thanks for confirming your findings that no ports seem to be blocked by Airtel, w.r.t. sipphone. The weird part is :I have 2 similarly configured AC-211-SR voip ATAs. Both use Airtel. 1 is in Coimbatore and 1 in Chennai. In both places, as of late december, there is no dial tone and VOIP/Voice light is down.I checked the ATA settings and they all seem to be fine.example.SIP proxy is set to proxy01.sipphone.com using port 5060Line 1 uses a UDP port of 64064.At this point, I don't know what else to try. Asking Airtel customer service any question about ports will be akin to banging one's head repeatedly against a wall (and we all know what the outcome would be!).

Yes, my VOIP is getting an IP, because I have a PC that uses the LAN out from the VOIP phone and it browses the internet fine.

have u port forwarded the UDP and TCP ports correctly in the router?although it doesnt look like a stun problem still u can try changing the STUN server..use any of the free ones availableu can also try installing a softphone on ur PC and see if it registers with sipphone..

So far, I had not done any port forwarding (5004-5005, 64064) and my ATA was working fine for the past 1 year.As part of my attempt to fix the problem, I did log into the ATA and assign the STUN server settings which were previously blank toSTUN server IP address: stun01.sipphone.com STUN server port: 3478 I rebooted the ATA and no go. still got no lights. Only thing I have not tried is the specific port forwarding.my set up isairtel beetel modem (black color) - > AC-211-SR -> PC

airtel beetel modem (black color) - > AC-211-SR -> PC

Are you using a phone via the computer ?
The computer need not be switched on for VOIP after initial setup.

No, I don't turn on the PC unless I need to browse. There is no software (Gizmo Windows for e.g.) on the PC also.Hope this helps.
