Airtel Broadband: Airtel DSL with SpeedStream 4100

I had problem with setting the port forwarding in my modem 220BX and now I am thinking of changing the modem. I am unable to host website or FTP with this.I want to use siemens speedstream 4100 ADSL model.I tried most of the default settings/settings in my old modem. When I connect with my user name and password, it will take about 2 to 3 mins for connecting and asking me to contact the helpdesk.Is there any important setting I am missing other than the username/password ?is there any site available which tells me what should i use to configure this modem ?

screenshots or some other details about modem firmware would be more helpful... you may also contact airtel support and ask for them to send a tech over to your place....
