Hi Members

I would like to share my experience of non responsiveness attitude with Airtel in network failure situations.

Airtel broadband network in Delhi was down from 7:56 P.M on 31-7-2009 till morning of 1-8-2009 . After dialing customer care no 121 and at the end recorded message played i.e dialed number does not exit.

I am requesting Airtel people that at least Airtel should properly communicate their customers about such failure.

For Broadband technical problem/s they have given another number.( forgot ! never used it for more than a year !) Always send a complaint By email to CC.( presume you use some other ISP to post here )or You could log in to your self care page and make an online complaint.

HiIn Delhi Airtel customer care no 121 is used for Sales, billing and complaints etc In my knowledge there is no seperate no for technical support. If network is healthy then certainly we will use e-mail.Thanks for your comments.

The number given to us for Airtel BB support is 1213. It just by passes the broadband option on 121

you should just dial 121 from your Airtel landline and follow the computrised instruction.

I was facing the exact same problem since yesterday night. Fortunately, since I had faced similar problems in the past, I had alternate numbers.Anyone facing the same problem, please dial 0124-4444121 from any mobile phone or landline to talk to their alternate customer care. I had to spend half an hour just to convince the customer care representative that there is actually a problem with the recent upgrade they did and I was getting the "dialed number does not exist" message. What a waste of time and money!(NB: You may need to prefix your city/circle STD code. The actual number is 4444121)

Airtel customer care numbers:
From Airtel landline numbers:

[*]555(Toll)
[*]121(Toll)
[*]198(Toll-Free)
From Non-Airtel numbers:

[*]4444555(Toll)
[*]4444121(Toll)
[*]4444198(Toll-Free)
From mobile phones:
Prefix the number with your std code. Eg for delhi users it would be 0114444121, for chandigarh/panchkula users 01724444121 and so on.
