The VPA software runs at the Airtel's server end and not on your desktop. You don't need any special software to run Airtel broadband.

BSNL. I can write a book on them. My friend works as Telecom officer in my
HomeTown and he suggests to not go for BSNL.
U never know when it breaks down, no reasons explained and u never get the speeds promised.

The airtel agent had come to my home a couple of times, promptly looked into the issue and when he logged in to airtel internal site to update the status, one look at the options made me faint.
They dont have
Windows 7 as OS option, all other fields to fill are of no use.
Thats the way they work.
The agent did say that the field work has been outsourced to Lucent recently (Bangalore) and they have been pathetic as they reduced the no.of employees and hence the bad CC.
To Sushubh too..
As i said m its my expirience and my past expirience with airtel... and looking on who brought FUP into indian scenario and how well the FUP is ahndled and structured... i would not go for airtel , thats the way , and only way in a democractic country i can show my apathy against a company , by neglecting it , ignoring it... and putting them on a back foot to change thier course...
yes m thier network can sometime go down... and no one will give a answer , but so far there is almost 95% uptime for 4 months now...
