Yeah.....just 2.5 months after the airtel sufferings & here too again...i need some breathing time.

I think Airtel would force Reliance to have it too. So that they can easily convince their users saying that no ISP in India is without FUP. They didnt even believed me when i said there is a 512 kbps UL plan without FUP in BSNL

lol airtel dont believe anything...the 1st day admin spoke to fuktel presense and launched the the fuktel presense thread I was the 2nd poster there posting links to MTNL and relaince sites where there is no FUP and also plans are cheaper compared to fukel. But they did not even bother addressing it.I have told this way too many times to CC ppl too but they refuse to believe it or if they loose the argument they just say that we are not concerned about other cos lol

you have to understand, the company is arrogant. their representatives are rather helpless in helping us out even if they want to.

Yeah, you cannot blame some of the representatives, they are only doing what they are told to... I was saying this is another post - the coin flips both ways, the customer service reps dont have the privilege to do something that we ask for and they are told to give such standard responses, also they have deadlines/SLAs - average call time should be 5 mins etc, so to come out of some situations, they sometimes are under pressure to bluff their way out.. The flip side is, sometimes because of the bluff, the company's reputation in turn takes a hit.

well yeah. social media is different from PR. you can admit your mistakes. you can admit that some things are out of your control. but simply playing stupid or ignorant is not the right way to tackle the situation.

This is fact that Airtel is ignorant and arrogant ... but consider this " How many users are being ignored" Or in other words how many AIrtel users are present on this forum flaming against Airtel FUP compared to their total user count and you get the answer why they doing so

yeah. even protests on twitter does not really matter in the end. airtel has more than 100 million mobile customers. a very small faction of it is active on twitter. and even smaller number would be protesting against them. overall, it does not affect them in ANY WAY imaginable. (something on the same line was actually communicated to me by their reps).

I am so happy..I am free from Airtel..I moved to MTNL 3G...I feel so good while getting nice speeds :) :) :)

I too have been using MTNL 3g for few months now, speed has been quite good, better than my Airtel 4 MBPS.Recently I recharged it with Rs. 4500, unlimited usage for 6 months, so effectively it is Rs. 750 a month.

Hey guys I am on 1299 (4mbps 25 gb) planMy Bill cycle date is 10th of the month(So the last one was 10th March - 10th April)I download stuff from torrent, thats what I mainly use this plan for, along site surfing a few sites and a bit of youtube(very less)So in this bill cycle ( 10th April - 10th May ) , After 10th April I've downloaded about 10.5 GB in torrents,I Definately know I haven't downloaded 15 GB just in http surfing/youtube as I hardly do that,As of today (27th April) Airtel has FUP'ed my speed to 256-kbpsI simply don't know what to do , so theyre giving me an FUP of less than 15GB and telling me the plan is for 25GB ?(thats probably the most[TOTAL - torrent+web surfing ] i've used till now since 10th April) Also : in the last bill cycle ( 10th March - 10th April) I downloaded almost 12 GB from torrents and some web surfing but i never got FUP'ed!What can I do about this guys? I'm pretty darn sure their crappy call center guys wont do shit about this, they will just try to convince me that I've used up my allotted data transfer limit.....Also a question : Does Airtel count UPLOADING in the data transfer limit? or only downloading?
