WTF!!

Now be a man and switch networks

There is a big difference between a 15GB limit (i have 256kbps UL) and a 250GB limit freind

Ya, you can't compare 15GB and 250GB. If Airtel FU limit was 250GB, then I guess it's OK.

250 GB is lot of data. :p

@kalpikIt is a canned reply. they sent me the same response when enquired about its looting policy.it means Airtel takes customer feedback and shoves it in its ass. :hysterical:send them back the same reply u made here - WTF!! :P

they are talking about data transfer limits.

a user can continue to download as much as he wants to at the slowed down speeds. that's what they are saying. it's still an unlimited connection!

Aha, got it now.

Your post covers everything else re:FUP otherwise :)

Ashutosh,

If you understand my concern, please at least try to solve it! Your "canned" email response is of no help to me. If you are a customer centric organization, please listen to what your customers say!

Regards,
Kalpik

And no.. they have not throttled my connection yet..

Nice to see people get united.Well, there are a large number of users who use their plans just for the sake of Checking mails, occasional Videos etc. They might not be in touch with forums Like IBF so it's very unlikely that this news has got into their ears.So we have to make sure media covers this up so that other user's are aware of this policy.I don't think even a casual user would accept a cap on his download although he might not be downloading much. They should get a feeling that airtel is cheating them..by this we can achieve two things.1) Mass dumping of airtel connection.Airtel would be left with no alternatives but to roll back. There revenues would dip considerably. They would be forced to offer very cheap plans to get back people's trust.. It's very difficult to get back the customers trust who are cheated.2)In the future no other isp's would dare to try out these kind of extravaganza. Since this news is heating up (pcworld has picked it up) soon or later media is gonna jump into the scene.then it's all over for Airtel..The trust of people which they gained from their years of good service will finally be thrashed.

Why don't we all just send the same email to Times Of India, Hindustan Times, NDTV, CNN-IBN etc? The same mail with different names.

hope this thing also opens the eyes of the TRAI and they better start looking over broadband seriously they way they are handling the telephony. Broadband prices must be reduced too, and putting a speed cap that also on such slow connections is stupidity. This matter should seriously be taken into attention of media or else airtel wont do anything. We all know this, then why are you people waiting, just do it.
