the policy is absolutely not fair to customers on 1mbps plan. personally, i am neither impressed nor happy.

heh. considering i am on the 512kbps plan, i am somewhat relieved. off the record :P

so....they threw us a bone, what next ?You are in a slightly better position than a friend i know in Adelaide, who is on 12/1Mbps, on which crossing 90GB gets shaped to 64kbs !

I have 1mbps UL and i am still not satisfied..But its better than 50gb.Want to thank this great forum and specially the admin..:)

Personally even though I'm on BSNL (in case they do something similar) I'm okay for now with these latest higher limits/caps by Airtel and consider them "fair enough" since my downloads hardly cross 50GB a month, and I'm only okay with it for now in the slim hopes it will help ISPs provide higher speeds and lower prices.Of course this is only my situation, I'm sure there are other honest users who will still be pissed off at these caps. ISPs should go after (prosecute etc) those such as sleazy operators who abuse home unlimited plans to run cyber cafes or share with multiple users etc...

What's wrong with you people?! These STILL are capped "unlimited" plans! So you're happy with 50GB today, what about when you need more in the future? What if after a month or two, Airtel AGAIN reduces these caps? Common guys, don't give up! Kudos to Airtel, they are trying the old "divide and rule" tactic :frown:
