airtel has different plans at different prices in different cities. so far they have implemented FUP in some cities. probably a test phase. won't be long before it is implemented in north india as well.

Hi, I'm sorry for going off topic, but has anyone been experiencing a reduction in speed for 512 Kbps plans? I've been facing this issue since the 16th of March 2009. I've basically lost around 7 to 10 kbps on downloads. I spoke with cc, then backend team, and then nodla, and then finally appellate, and they are saying my speed is fine, and is within the 80% as stated by TRAI. I explained to them I had speeds of 64 kbps to 68 kbps for over a year, and they don't care about that. They said they can check only live connections and right now my speed is fine.Can anyone suggest anything? Is there anyone in higher ups in airtel who might be willing to listen to my complaint? And how is BSNL 512 Kbps is it better speed wise?thanks for any suggestion you can give.

the fact remains... in case of time warner, the entire media was lambasting twc... one of the senator threatened to create a law that would disallow such policies by ISPs...

here in india, no mainstream media is taking on airtel. instead they are mocking us all with their impatient one ads.
