Airtel Broadband Fair Usage Policy

Can you tell me how to go about it, I think even I have that problem. Downloads in torrents and IDM are excellent but not video streaming
Use airtel DNS. airtel West DNS is different from airtel South DNS. I suggest you get the DNS details from any local airtel broadband user.

Hey wait, you're still on airtel broadband right? So, just go to http://192.168.1.1 and you can see what airtel DNS you're using. Use those!

I threw out airtel connection and already started using Spectranet.

Yes. That is what I did last week while complaining about billing issues. The issue got resolved within a day. This is what I included “If you have some free time just have a look at https://broadband.forum/ to get more feedback regarding your company. Your Airtel presence team in that website just went invisible because they could not answer our questions”.

MTNL 3G @ Rs 4500 for 6 months is the best value for money plan as of now. You get unlimited connection with 2 mbps down and 1 mbps upload speed for Rs 750 per month. Since this is prepaid connection, service tax is included in Rs 4500.

BUT, before buying a USB dongle and the SIM, check if MTNL's signal is available in your home. In my office we get full signal in all rooms. In my home, signal is not available in many rooms and that is a problem.
