Airtel Broadband: Not getting proper speeds

I recently upgraded to airtel 512kbps unlimited plan, but when I'm downloading something I only get speeds of ~50KBps on DDL....any way to know what wrong?

80% is to be guaranteed. that comes to around 51.2...

Speeds also depend on the server. Try out some fast servers.

But when I was using their 256kbps plan I was always getting 30+KBps, but I never touched even 60KBps on the new plan.

Speed is fluctuating between 48-57KBps, but usually stays at 51-52KBps....

Check if another software is using Internet or not.Download DU meter and see what speed you are getting.

I did a speed test and its showing proper speeds: slightly above 0.5MBps, but I'm not getting that speed for downloading something...
