Airtel doesn't advertise the speed anymore. They are selling data instead of speed. You will be given the maximum speeds applicable once you choose a plan.

@igloo I'm not exactly sure what you mean by upload sync rate but my upstream data rate was increased from 550 to 870kbps.

I'm on the Advantage 200GB plan mentioned in the flyer that @mhsabir posted. I simply e-mailed 121 and asked for the latest plans. They offered me this and also said 16mbps is feasible for my connection while I've been using 4mbps all this time.

Beware of Airtel's 16 Mbps plans. There will be frequent disconnects unless the outside plant is near perfect. 8 Mbps and 4 Mbps connections will be a lot more stable over the same line.

Yes, I was wondering about connection drops too. It's been good so far, touch wood. If I start facing disconnections, I'll downgrade to 8 mbps.

That means upload speed is same in 8mbps and 16mbps plan.
To be honest aside upload speed didn't find much diff between 4mbps and 8mbps speed download.
I wonder why ppl in west are crying for gigabit speeds unless you have too many users in house.

@Zaphod No drops for me as well on 16 Mbps.

Can anyone post Retention/Secret/FLBPL plan names for airtel Delhi/NCR please? I want better plans as well. I pay a lot to airtel currently for a measly 25GB FUP.

call them and say you wanna disconnect. they will transfer u to retention dept. get a deal there.
i got 300off for 6months on 1399plan.

Im shifting soon to Pallikaranai and Airtel doesn't have coverage there. I already have nightmares of dealing with Tikona fellows
