After reading each and every details of port forwarding in Beetel 220 BXI ADSL2 router from net still the port forwarding is not working in my case......

I have configured Apache Web Server on Port 8080 and i forwarded the same 8080 port on the ADSL2 router but still i m unable to get my index web page after i enter http://192.168.1.1:8080/ in my browser.....

I tried out other ports for forwarding but none of them worked.....

I am using Windows XP SP2 + Bitdefender Total Security 2008....

Can anybody help me out with this problem of mine??

:(

Problem in the IP address. see the blog site given by me.

I cant get u..... :( what is its link??

k i have seen it.....
but i did what it had suggested for Apache.... instead i m not having dynamic DNS server as shown in the blog...

my settings

http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/1239/mysettings1xp3.jpg

its suggesting keep the external ports as 8080 but the internal ports must be 80 (default port for apcahe servers) i tried that..... still not worked its then that i changed apache ports to 8080 n here u have my NAT -> port forwarding settings with all 8080 ports......

In my 220BX1 under DNS I don't see the other option Dynamic DNS given in the blog .Could you post the screenshot , if you can access it.By the way can you access the web site posted by you normally in the browser @/superprash2003/ In this forum . Have you enabled firewalls for port 80 (or 8080) .Check.

I have checked it 100 times about 8080 port in the firewall settings...

1.http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/1449/mysettingsep5.jpg Your setting.
In your computer TCP/IP properties. What is selected ?
Obtain IP address automatically? or you have entered 192.168.1.2
2. Could you get the DDNS setting page in Beetel 220BX1 as given in the blog post . ?
3. Could you access your web site in the browser ?
4. Try this tool Online Port Scanner | Port Scan | Port Scanning | Portscan Tool
Port scan tools need your IP 122.164.xx.xx. for me 8080 not responding.
Please wait for other users suggestions.
Para two :
