1.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]I still can't figure out what all the hype surrounding Chrome is about. Its a "nothing" browser in my opinion. No UI, no plugins and I shudder to think of the sort of security screening it does for phishing threats. Google (according to its mail) doesn't even think phishing is a real word...for all those of you running your machines without internet security antivirus, I'd advise IE 8 for a secure internet experience.

meh the new swift 1099 plan is bad, i inquired and got a reply from airtel. its 512kbps till 20GB and then 256kbps after that. 1mbps at night. that just sucks since i use the connection for mainly in the day.

on the airtel site click on trai format, it clearly mentions all the new limits. 20GB for the new 1099 swift plan.

For all NU plans shows "Unlimited" Only speed is reduced after 20 GB etc.
FUP in a different mode !
Also clearly states only for D/L, speed upto 1 Mbps. For torrents etc U/L speed not sure !

I am using this plan past 3 months and my monthly download goes beyond 20 GB and there are video chats online radio apart from the downloads and I have not seen any drop in speed. On average I download 40 - 60 GB per month.

thats probably cuz u are using the old swift 1099 like me, speeds stay 512kbps till 100GB. On average I download 70-80GB monthly.

Airtel can't force people to change,So I guess, it won't be a big problem for those who already have swift 1099
