Call CC. Ask them to talk to their Supervisor. Better thing, ask them to have return call from Retention Deptt or Billing Deptt.

What does your DSL Data consumption shown on Airtel myAccount? it should always show 0 GB.

Edit - You can always talk to Retention Deptt by making a Disconnection request. Retention Deptt is actually Disconnection Deptt. There is no way to call to Retention Deptt directly.

It says consumed 5GB data limit and smartbytes data purchase option is also showing.
But speed is still 4mbps now.

Received call from a senior executive. He informed me that FUP will apply to all static ips now all over India.

So they metered your usage. Might just be Glitch. Never happened with me. My usage always stay at 0 GB. But why worry when your Speed is 4 Mbps. If Speed gets to 512 Kbps again, make a disconnection request. Ask them why your speed is being throttled? That's the best way to deal with this situation.

But I doubt it. Sooner or later they are gonna impose FUP. Will disconnect if they do it.

I see Reliance Jio OFC cables around my area. Hopefully RJIO will start operations soon and we might see better internet plans.
