lol so yeah this number worked. though my query was not resolved when i called just now because 'system is working very slow'.
ICICI bank also has joined the 1860 club
When i tried calling the 1860 number from my airtel postpaid number it said something along the lines
This call is chargeable, visit airtel.in(or airtel.in/something) to know rates for special numbers

try to find a non 18xx series number and save it

best is to look for landline numbers. icici does list them on other pages.

I was on prepaid then and yes, it was not an aberration, happened twice with 2 different numbers that I ported out in 2018-2019 since the morons didn't have VoLTE services despite having rolled it out for more than 3-4 months and call quality was absolute crap.
