YES:thumbsup: BHARTI AIRTEL's DTH soft launch today, according to ZEE NEWS report currently AIRTEL DTH is available for employees only. It means AIRTEL DTH coming soon commercially. :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

not possible
INSAT4CR is a partially failed sat with low life.
It cannot be used for DTH transmissions unless a immediate backup satellite co-located
within two years.

LOL - You guys are dancing on each and every DTH (launched for employees) appears in a news (??? - without source)...Funny - did you wait (or keen to buy) like this for anything else?

INSAT4CR may be partially failed with reduced life expectancy, but it does not mean that it is not operational. You can check the link as some of the Distance learning/Educational channels are operational since its launch and that too on a KU-Band
Please follow the link: EDUSAT, INSAT 4CR (74.0E) Last Chart Update: 2008-07-07, 11:12

Once AIRTEL' s DTH service is operational on INSAT4CR more transponders/satellite may be co-located at 74 degree east to cope the reduced life expectancy problem.

Also sources say AIRTEL has hired six and half transponders for its DTH venture
