yes i have checked out the Airtel service. Its the NDS platform, Black Interface & rectangle sharp-edged buttons. the pop-ups are aqua-green colored with white text on it which make its absolutely unreadable (or difficult to read) its not fully functional service yet so most of the menus are not functional which is understandable. presently it has 5 games i think the menus have lots of sub menus (categories) which is really confusing. the Channels (or ''Guide" in other services) has 16 categories which is surprising - why are there so many of them - it increses the time. moreover the scroll goes to the 3rd page (if the hotkeys are not used to jump to the next page) response time of the service is slow[time taken for the command to execute from the remote] (Tata Sky has the fastest response followed by Dish) STB design is really cool with the buttons on top. the red glow loks neat when the STB is powered on. when one presses the buttons on the stb that one realises that its actually low quality plastic - press the buttons on the stb & u will know what i mean (the sound itself is not so great) remote looks neat - its a grey remote with a black patch on it housing the navigation buttons. 4 favourite lists can be created (15 channels max in each list). apart from this there is another system list which accomodates all channels from all 4 lists reminders feature exists with ability to auto-tune to the program set as a reminder i hated the grid-view of airtel dth - its the same cluttered view of the NDS platform which tatasky has. the program names are cut halfway & only 3 program slots are seen. even though 90% of the features are in place it still has a long way to go for the launch - i say this coz i know how long it takes for the product to fine-tune. (ofcourse its Airtel's decision to launch the product as-is) will try to post photos later (dont have them right now)
