I have landline connection at home but I heard about airtel is cheapest services but I think airtel plans are heavy and costly for me. why? I use normally but they charge rs1/minute each local call. why? have nay new cheapest plan?
I dont think Airtel landline tariffs are cheap for those who use landline for < Rs 500 worth of calls. The plan which has the lowest monthly commitment is around 500 bucks.All the private providers are trying to push their broadband services and fixed line only seems a way to access it. Airtel has an expensive fixed line tariff. Tata and Relaince dont even offer fixed line services.
when I starts using airtel broadband they asked why you are not using voice calls.They got frustrated after seeing my usage.voice calls -nil-.They tried to give me foolish free caller tune service,but I refused.Once they charged 80 Rs for calling premium numbers.I called them and speaks strong words.Money is reverted.AIRTEL wants there landline ARPU not less than 500.Even STD calls are costliest in landline.:frown:
