Airtel Mobile: How many of YOU Stopped using GPRS after 30 Ps/50 KB Plan ?

I was using it since GPRS was Rs. 5/day but unsubscribed when they started charging upon data transfer.:notallowed: Now I have BSNL plan 525 with 50 MB free GPRS sufficient for checking e-mails and news on the move. :thumb:

Iam one of Them who stopped using Airtel Gprs and even dumpede my airtel Connection aftter they removed Airtel Online Plan and shifted to 30ps/50kb plan

Airtel Dont Introduce New Attrative tariffs as the Other Service providers do,Atleast They Have To Retain the old Plans(Airtel Online Gprs).....but I dont understand why They Do every thing Against Customers

Ive got vodafone too...For surfing net on phone charges are 10 PS / 10 KB

i actually started using it after the 30p/50kB plan, as it is definitely cheaper than the 10p/10kB plan, as long as you use more than 30kB which even 1 page will often use..the example of opening only google and closing it, thus comparing the cost is not correct, as that does not represent actual use. it would be cheaper to open google if the company charged 2p/kB than 10p/10kBcompare actual use of 10p/10kB and 30p/50kB and then do the calc.it is like the tata plan of Rs3/10 min for STD, sure it is more expensive if u make only short calls of 1-2 mins, but as long as your calls>1 pulse it makes sense.

unlimited GPRS plan is back in Karnataka from 5th Nov.Rs.20/day or Rs.99/week for unlimited GPRS.
