Don't know. But I don't think call forward will work if you are trying to enable it from a different network.Update:I tried that right now. Setting up call forwards did not work as I am out of Mumbai (but still in India). I am not able to change any call forward / call divert from here.May be [just a guess] you could call Airtel from abroad and they can enable it for you.

EDIT @ amish Dude i already have DID's in US..UK n HKG n plenty of relatives n friends landlines/mobile too..so i dont really have a prob setting up forwarding..just wanted to know if somebody had enabled the option while roaming..PS i did get free GPRS access last time i went abroad..courtesy Airtel @ Netfreak thats wat i think as well..

Sending email from gmail is cheaper then sending a SMS if you are roaming in US/EU.

Yahoo was free last time around..i dont know if that airtel hack works (abroad) now or not..

Is free yahoo some hack? Since they would normally charge for any data xfer.

i accessed yahoo from my mobile and sent emails from there..i was already using airtel's GPRS for free in India..and surprisingly the same thing continued even while i was roaming !

You people... I am already abroad travelling through Europe.My mom has a Hutch connection and my dad a Airtel connection. They won't buy any sim cards or anything.So I was wondering the price of a incoming/outgoing call and the price of a outgoing SMS.Crazysah

The rates are for AIRTEL 'PREPAID' international roaming as follows : Incoming call : Rs.50 per minute (regardless of the roaming network) Outgoing call : Not possible Incoming SMS : FREE Outgoing sms : Rs.15 per sms (On any roaming network regardless of where the SMS is sent).

>> Incoming mobile to mobile sms is FREE

You can dial *123# (toll free) to check your balance. It will be INDIAN RUPEES always.
