Airtel Mobile: New SMS Tariffs

In kerala:

Rs 6 = 600 sms Val:2 days
15 = 3000 sms 7 days
44 = 4400 sms 30 days
70 = 7000 sms+(450mins A2A 11pm-6am) 30days

good tariff,but when will they launch new sms tariffs like these in haryana?

i rarely send sms through my phone. but when i do, i usually get a shock. Rs. 1.5 for a single sms to an outstation number? Man... This is absurd.

why dont u use some free sms portal ? u would be having a mobile connection i hope

well i am trying to make a point here. not looking for an alternative. and sms portals do not work anymore if the person i am sending an sms to is subscribed to dnd.

Reliance GSM charges Rs.1.50 for an SMS. It was straight hike from 0.50 to 1.50... of course without even notifying the customer.

oh no! Local is Rs.1.00 and outside Rs.1.50.

same on most networks i believe without any special sms plan.

^ I am having one Vodafone prepaid number from which I can send SMS throughout India for Rs.0.50 (without any addon packs). That is the one I use if I need to send SMS... not sure how long it will continue.
