airtel mobile: Rs. 40 rental/month, 800 local calls and sms free

Hi all,I got call for this scheme and asked for 599 per connection. I have paid the amount and later I came to know it was a fraud. I have made complaint in Airtel. They are showing interest to catch the team. Still those numbers are active from which I have got call. If Airtel ppl dont catch them.. what can I do??

if its a fraud scheme, which means no such thing exists,so how come you could be "opted-in" any such planor if there exists a plan withg 599 rental and you have been told features not under it then there is little you can do,after all i cannot just get a broadband connection from bsnl under home 250 plan and go about saying that "someone" called me saying that the plan has 18mbps of speed try pushing them to trace that number

How I will trace them. They are not picking my call even if I call from different number. Airtel PPL are not providing me the real name and address of the number from which I got a call..

File a complaint with TRAI or how about a police complaint

Police are not ready to take complain.. they said to communicate with Airtel only..!! :madness:I am thinking to goto TRAI

Why don't u approach the higher authorities @ airtel itself.. Am sure there must be some soul with a sound mind in the hierachy who can understand your situation and act.
